Must Have SEO Tools To Grow Your Business.

As a digital marketer, you know the importance of SEO. SEO helps your website rank higher in search engine results, leading to more traffic, leads, and sales.

Many tools are available to help you with that, and it can be overwhelming to figure out which ones are worth using.

In this post, we’ll look at some of the top SEO tools that can help you improve your online presence.

Let’s start with the ones the search engines provide, starting from the foundation.

Google Search Console

This free tool by Google helps you monitor and maintain your website’s presence in search results. You can see how your website is performing in traffic, clicks, and impressions and get alerts about any issues affecting your website’s ranking.

Search Console is one of the first tools to prioritize, especially when setting up a new website. One of the best features is the ability to help you identify and fix technical issues on your website. For example, if Google is having trouble crawling your website, you’ll receive an alert so you can fix the problem.

Google Analytics

This is another free tool that helps provide a wealth of information about your website’s performance. With this tool, you can track website traffic, see which pages are getting the most views, and find out where your visitors are coming from. This helps me make any adjustments to my website to improve monetization.

Google Analytics also provides valuable insights into how users interact with your website. You can see how long they stay on your site or leave it, which I call “Bounce Rate,” what they click on, and whether they convert into leads or sales.

The bounce rate is critical to pay attention to. The more people visit and leave your website in a short time could lead to more penalization signaling the search engines that your website isn’t essential or user-friendly.

SEMrush

SEMrush is a comprehensive SEO tool that helps you track your website’s performance and identify areas for improvement. This tool is great for keyword research, analyzing your competitor’s websites, and tracking your rankings on search engines.

I would use this tool for keyword research as it provides a broader search on long and short-tail keywords, including their unique keyword magic tool feature, which is by far the best in the market.

Ahrefs

Now, this is my favorite and must-have. Not to be biased but Ahrefs, by far, has been the best backlink analyzer in the market for the past six years doing SEO. At the same time, it offers a wide range of other features to help you improve your website’s performance.

One of the standout features of Ahrefs is its ability to identify broken links on your website. Broken links can be a problem for SEO because they can cause search engines to crawl your website less frequently. What also is good about this tool is identifying and fixing broken links that could help improve your search rankings.

Yoast

Yoast is a popular WordPress plugin that helps you optimize your website’s content for search engines. This is one of the top plugins if not the only one; you’ll need to optimize your website, including your title, metadata, URL, headings, and content.

It also provides recommendations for how to improve your website’s content for search engines. For example, if you have a long title tag, Yoast will suggest you shorten it to enhance its readability.
